Currently Listening
Underage Thinking
By Teddy Geiger
For You I Will(Confidence)

Another late night here at KEXL, just trying to make it till 6 this morning.  I still have to finish out the Saturdays this month I'm scheduled for even tho I am currently working for KPNO.  I tell you what I am dead tired right now, and it's only going to worse over the next 72 hours.

Side note, this week I started at KPNO as station manager, and I love it.  They people that work there are great and are really easy to get along with.  Monday, when I started, my office was a pit and I basically spent all day cleaning it up.  The manager before me was a pack rat and had I think close to every promo, liner, program cds and tapes he ever got, since like 1994.  Crazy.  But everything is cleaned up now and my office is big and cozy.  Mike came to visit me earlier this week to check the place out, and the Kirbi, Jesse Hinkel and Matt Hinkel came to visit me on  Friday.  I loved having people come visit me, it made me feel even more important then I already am.

Anyways, so I put in like close to 50 hours this week, stayed up and watched a movie with Kirbi Friday night, had to get up Sat. morning at 7 to go to stop class till 5 in the afternoon, then I was going to get some sleep from 8-11 cuz I had to work from 12 to 6, but ended up having to come in at 10 because the girl that was working found out her brother was in a car accident and needed to leave.  So I got only 40 minutes of sleep, and here I sit,  but listen to this cuz it gets worse.  Later this morning I have to get up like at 11:00 because the Norfolk high school rugby guys have a game in Wayne at 1:00.( I'll get a few hours of sleep in)  Then i'll pry try to take a short nap in Kirbi's room after the game, but then have to head to Norfolk for a backyard band bash where I said I would show up for KPNO and hand out stickers and balloons for some self promotions.  Then I'll pry have to pack because 8:00 Monday morning I have to leave for KGRD in O'neill to train on how to use our programs and everything with the programing related to studio use.  So I have to stay in a hotel in O'neill for a few days while there. It's kind of my first company trip so I am excited about that, cuz it's all paid for!

I just thought I'd keep you informed on what's going on, and please get some sleep for me

Thanks, I love you my friends!

So I'm at THE X in Norfolk pulling another overnighter, with little to no sleep and the clock tickin' in slow motion.  Sweet a song I can sing along to just came on - Our Lady Peace - Somewhere out there.   I haven't listened to Our Lady Peace in forever.  I remember in high school when my friends Nate, Kayla, Megan, Dopheide, and Sarah Rowse would go out to hang out at broken bridge, right outside of Norfolk, after a late night of play practice, and on the way there jam out to some old school Our Lady Peace.  I'm talking about before their "gravity" cd came out, back when Oleander was in everybody's cd players.

Anyways, thing have been in the upswing lately.  As of April 16th I will be the new station manager at KPNO in Norfolk.  It is wierd because I know how big of a position this is and when I think about it, I get this knot in my stomach.  Just knowing that I can do anything with a wonderful God in control makes everything better.  Instead of letting that knot bother me an fluster me, I let be a reminder of the glory of God, everything that he has instore for me, and an oppertunity to praise Him.

Also, I have officially been asked to be the person in charge of stage set-up and crew for all of the Christian bands that are playing seasonally here in Norfolk.  Talk about a sweet position to be in. I also found out that at the Cross Festival this summer out at Skyview Lake they have scheduled Kutless to play, and I am pretty sure that it is completely free.  Basically the Cross Festival is just like a festival where they have a bunch of speakers, bands, and such for a whole weekend so that they can outreach to people in the community of Norfolk and the surrounding area.

So things are going well, and now I can quit work at Braun research.  Praise Jesus!

Jason wants me to post so I will make a quick one.

Lately I've been under the weather (spiritually) because i have let a lot of worry enter into my life, and have not been very joyful.  Thankfully though with Kirbi by my side, I have come out of this valley and I am learning and growing once again .  It's kinda funny because God is almost like a genie in a sense.  Now don't go calling me a hypocryte yet, but I have been pleading with God to speak to me and show me what I need to know.  So last night I got EXACTLY what I asked for, I was reading my bible and there were like 8 verses that were standing out to me, more so than any have ever stood out.  It was wierd almost like a dream, because I just kept reading them over and over and over and over, and I didn't want to go on I just felt like a record skipping for almost an hour.

Evan though I dont really remember what the verses were from memory today, from my bible they are...

"And you , being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh.  He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us.  And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed to the cross.  Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.  So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, which ar a shadow of things to come, but the substance of Christ.  Let no one cheat you or your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which He has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind."  Colossians 2:13-18 (ok so six really long verses)

anyway there were so many images that just kept coming to my mind after reading this over and over and over again, it was so very inspiring. Jeapers! I could probably give a 30 min talk on those verses.

So Yeah, but what i really wanted to get to was that i have an interview with the president of the Praise Network for the station manager position at KPNO in Norfolk, so pray for me, this could be an answer to many the prayers.

Keep on loving, especially you Jason

Oh by the way Mike send me a message, cuz im not subscribed to your new xanga page so I can't read your stuff.  GEEEEEEEEZZZZ MIKE

Hey friends,

The last few weeks have been fairly tough on me, but its funny how even though things seem like they get so bad, and I just feel like leaving my face in my hands, there is always that little something inside that tells me to keep my head up and smile.  So I do and I will.
